It's been 31 years since I spent  a good part of a summer in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.  I worked in the concessions at Jackson Lake Lodge in between my college years, and woke each morning to a view pretty close to this one.

Not much has changed in Grand Teton National Park in those years.  I still know the trails and the turnouts like the back of my hand.  Lots has changed in the city and at the south end of the park however, where the popularity of this gorgeous spot has resulted in lots of new homes and development without adversely affecting the park.

This was the most recent of many trips we've taken as a family -- and this time we got to share it with two who've kind of become part of the family in recent years.  They were duly impressed.  And we loved the chance to introduce them to such incredible beauty.
